It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 5th Edition of the Delta Cure International Meeting, taking place in Milan on October 15th–16th, 2026.

Recognized as the leading international forum fully dedicated to Hepatitis Delta Virus, Delta Cure continues to bring together leading experts, clinicians, and researchers from around the world.

Since its beginning, this meeting has played a central role in advancing the collective understanding of this uniquely severe and challenging form of viral hepatitis. The 2026 scientific program will again offer a comprehensive exploration of the virus, epidemiology, virology, immunology, clinical progression, and effect of therapy on long-term complications.

For the first time, all the abstracts accepted for the Delta Cure 2026 meeting will be PUBLISHED in a dedicated supplement of the indexed journal BMJ Open Gastroenterology, further enhancing the visibility and impact of the scientific contributions presented at the meeting.

We remain dedicated to supporting the next generation of HBV/HDV researchers: a significant portion of the program will be reserved for ORAL ABSTRACT PRESENTATIONS by early-career investigators, fostering their integration into the international research community.
